The founder
Born in Argentina, Jesica Vargas is a wine journalist and specialist with a background in marketing. From 2013, she worked with wineries and wine-related businesses in Mendoza, the heartland of Malbec, before relocating to the United States and founding Andes Uncorked—a platform dedicated to telling the stories of South American wine producers and exploring the terroir that shapes their wines.
Currently a Writer-at-Large for Wine Enthusiast, Jesica covers Latin American and South African wine regions and reviews over 1,000 wines annually. Through her writing, tastings, and newsletter, she brings insider perspectives on South American wine to professionals and enthusiasts worldwide.
